We struck gold when we stayed at the Treck Hostel, an indoor caravan camping site in Ghent, Belgium.

Now you can’t quite pull up there with your own caravan. They have refurbished old units brought in from the Netherlands and sprayed them up in funky unique designs for onsite rentals, inside this old brick manufacturing factory.

You get a small garden area, indoor of course, showers, toilets, bar and restaurant onsite also equipped with communal caravan room.

I can’t say that this was one of the places we planned to stay on our travels as we did not know that these kinds of places even existed.
