We planned on staying in Chiang Khong for a couple of weeks before traveling through to Luang Prabang, Laos. As normal in life, the unexpected happens and you just have to modify your plan, because your goals are more important and well a plan is just a plan after all……Seven or eight weeks later we left Center for Girls, NGO in Chiang Khong, the one street town, full of admiration for the girls at the centre; English spelling now 🙂 and full of richness about what we had learned about Human Trafficking, Women and Child Abuse that goes on in this region, Thai foods, the culture, movie nights……and on and on.

I know we definitely added lots of value to their organisation, but for us both, we have made a couple of wonderful friends in Nunaree and Ploysai.
