Xian central city is encompassed with a huge 25m x 21m x 14km wall, with some 98 look out points. Hiring bikes and cycling around the wall with such awesome views was simply fabulous fun and good orientation for the city layout.

At the city centre is the Bell Tower and Drum Tower closeby with gates at N,S,W & E sides of the wall for entry and exit points to what is now rapidly becoming a sophisticated city of 21st Century.

Travelling and keeping in an exercise routine is not easy so it was a welcome bit of fun and exercise cycling along the wall.
