The Red Fort in Delhi was built by a Mughal ruler to symbolise the seat of power back in the days of yore.
Surprise, surprise the British Empire in India placed their troops here…..fingers in pies again those dastardly brits!
Finally on independence in 1947 the Indian army could move in and look after this fine example of fortification until 2003….
Now just an expensive tourist attraction. But boy it looks great in all its dazzling glory of “redness”
