Mambo Jambo

Traveling through so many countries picking up words and phrases is a hell of a task as one can easily blend the words across countries, especially if you are linguistically challenged like me…..not in my English classes though.

Whilst the kids greet with the polite “How are you?” The conversation stops soon after that, this cool greeting simply roles off the tongue in a leisurely manner “Mambo” or “Jambo” in Kiswahili means “Hello, how are you?”

Jetting around on the motorbike taxi is one of the easiest forms of getting around Arusha, cost is cheap and they zip through the traffic with consumat ease. I have a video of us in Mianzini which is I think is quite daring but my finger was half over the lense for the journey…😱
