President’s Day Celebrations and the museum was closed! In fact I think Francistown would like to have closed down.

So we hopped on a shuttle bus 5 hours blitzing through to Kasane, stopping briefly at Nata, same price as the night bus 112 Pula.

Now the challenge was to find accommodation in this little town at 17:30! So door to door knocking at the few lodges down the “strip” (it’s a little little town). We even entered someone’s house by mistake much to the owners surprise.

Dusk was starting to settle and enough rejections and we decided to flag a taxi down and try the only place we had heard of prior to our arrival….success! Room at Thebe Safari Lodge….zzzzz
