A short distance outside of Mtwapa Village down a long long 3km walk in baking heat we found Jumba Ruins, a small Swahili fishing village from the 14th century. It was rediscovered back in 1980 by some Swedish archeologists and today is a peaceful place, covered with beautiful trees and views onto the beach where is sits.
