I admit I haven’t seen all of the world yet, but any other place will have to put out good, to compete for this number one spot! 

Vendors sell anything and everything, right on the sidewalk! And they don’t even fear a runaway matatu(truck taxi), plowing into their merchandise. 

It’s bed frames, window frames, converted car seats, dining chairs, clothes, chickens, coffins(you heard me), and a colorful menagerie of other regular and obscure items that I don’t have enough words to describe. 

 
Admittedly, these sights are only reserved for the brave who venture out of the city and into the developing residential areas(read slums), but this is the real Nairobi!
